I’ve finally decided to just put Wattpad to rest (don’t tell anyone haha) and use Ao3 to publish my fics. Enjoy chapter one of An Unorthodox Solution: Chase X Reader!
whOO I FINALLY FINISHED THESE
ego wallpapers based on my recent Schneep edit!
special thanks to @marielgum for the robbie shots!
This one is much shorter, but I rEALLY need to get out of this writing block. So have some short shit with the lovely dad bean. This one is also angsty like the last one so haha enjoy
The sound of the key disengaging the lock brought a sense of relief to me as I stepped into my apartment. It had been a long week, and I was ready to crash.
As I set my keys down on the coffee table, I heard a door open behind me. I froze until I realized it was only my fiancé, Chase. “Hey, honey, when did you get here?”
I turned to face him. What I expected to see was his bright, smiling face, looking lovingly at me under his gray and pink cap. But what I saw was someone who looked like they’d seen death. And accepted it. “Chase? Baby, what’s wrong?”
He sniffled, wiping his eyes. “I lost them. I lost the kids.”
My heart dropped to my feet. “What?”
“I lost them, Y/n. Stacy won.” He cried.
Oh fucking shit. “She-she did? No, he can’t have! The final hearing wasn’t supposed to be until tomorrow! I was supposed to go with you and give my testimony!”
Chase fell to his knees. I could only remember one other time when he’d done this, and that was when he admitted to me that Stacy’d left him. And like before, I cradled him in my arms and let him cry.
But this time, I was crying too. I had gotten to spend much more time with Cody and Mariah, and had grown to love them like they were my own kids. Even now, with me being two months pregnant with Chase’s child, they couldn’t wait to meet our little one. I was supposed to give my words on how Chase was fit to be a good dad, how he could support them just as much as Stacy could.
“No.”
Chase lifted his head from my chest. “What?”
“No!” I said, louder, getting up off of the couch. “I won’t fucking stand for this! I will fight for those kids and I always will! We are going down to the courthouse tomorrow and we’re fixing this! I have a right to give my testimony and I damn sure will! I’ll talk until I’m blue in the face about how you are a good dad and that those kids need you!”
Chase stood up too, putting one arm around my waist and one hand on my lower stomach. “Thank you.” He said and laid his head on my shoulder. “Thank you.” He repeated, kissing my neck softly.
I had totally forgotten that I’d drawn these Sams for SepticArt!
From left to right we have Schneep’s, Anti’s, Jack’s, Jackaboy Man’s, and Chase’s Sams!
(Now this was before I knew about Marvin, Robbie and the others so pls don’t shoot me for not including them)
